Sunday Mornings from 10:30am to 11:30am

in Room 05 downstairs

Join us in our cozy little corner of the church as we sip coffee and sit on large, plush couches.  The atmosphere is warm and so are the bagels.  We’re out of pop-tarts right now, but don’t let that stop you!

Did we mention the coffee is free?  It’s free.  And we have a wonderful assortment of aromatic creamers to flavor your coffee according to your own standards of sweetness.  Sometimes we even have a pot of crystal clear water heated to perfection for which the most common usage is the making of hot chocolate.  Oh, and there’s also a little BIBLE STUDY brewing right now too!!

Jesus was the Master Teacher!  Even people who don’t think Jesus was the Son of God acknowledge that he was still pretty good at getting his point across.  The way he did that most of the time was by telling stories!  But not just any stories.  He told PARABLES.

Far from being mere fables, folk tales, or moral maxims, these parables of Jesus packed a punch!  He had a way of drawing you into the story and then poking you in the eye.  Quite often the listener found himself or herself pointing the righteous finger of judgment right back in thier own face.
