Children’s Worship

Mr. Bible:  Preschool aged children may attend Mr. Bible during the sermon. This a fun interactive time for little ones to learn about God and Jesus through a short Bible lesson, singing, praying, and playing.  A snack is provided.

PGMB (Praise God with your Mind and Body): Steven and Terry Paden, along with Kathy McBride and Phyllis Goodwin, launch another year of the PGMB class that begins on January 9 during worship service.  This exciting class is for children in kindergarten-7th grade.   PGMB is a fun and challenging class.  The children play games that emphasize Bible knowledge, take quizzes on the lesson and memorize a Bible verse each week. The theme this year is New Testament All Stars.  The awards will be given on June 19 and the winning team will be announced.

Sunday School Classes

18 months-4 year olds:  The Little Lambs class is an active learning time that includes a snack.  This class is held in Room 7.

Julie Sundman is teaching a special class to all the elementary school children beginning Sunday, Feb. 6.  The children will be learning about the Easter story and practicing for a performance during the worship service on Easter.  This interactive time will give the children a chance a worship in a creative and meaningful way.  All are welcome to participate in this class even if they do on want to be a part of the performance on Easter.

Upcoming Summer Events

We are happy to announce Egyptian Expedition Day Camp as our Vacation Bible School theme for June 20-24.

Sunny Hills Youth Theatre will return this summer with performances of  Willy Wonka Jr. Aug 18-21.  Pre-audition workshop and parent meeting June 10 @ 7:00 PM.
