Chili Cookoff
Since 2000 the GIFTS Committee has hosted a Chili Cook-off as a fundraising event to benefit specific causes or needs. This family-friendly event is enjoyed by everyone – from those who are young to the “young-at-heart.” Each fall the congregation has come together to eat massive amounts of some of the best chili you will ever taste, and open our hearts (and wallets) to a cause. Over the years funds collected have benefited individual families in the local community; group homes; transitional living centers; and members of our own church family. This year all proceeds will benefit the Sunny Hills Church of Christ Internal Caring Ministry, which will in turn help individuals and families in need.
There is no charge to attend this event; however, an offering will be collected. All donations are gratefully accepted.
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st Place – $50 gift card to Home Depot
2nd Place – $25 gift card to Home Depot
3rd Place – $15 gift card to Home Depot
Entertainment will once again be provided by a live band – our own Will Play for Food.

The fun will begin at 4:00pm SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2 in the upper parking lot.
